The Wisconsin Covenant -- a program wherein participating students who meet certain academic and nonacademic criteria are guaranteed admission into a Wisconsin college or university -- gives middle- and high-schoolers a clear path to higher education as they begin to plan their futures.

National

"Unanimity in the Senate," Inside Higher Ed, July 25.

With a unanimous vote, the U.S. Senate renewed the Higher Education Act, which included an increase in the maximum Pell Grant award and the implementation of a code of conduct regarding relationships between higher education institutions and private educational lenders.
