UW System officials said the Board of Regents will wait until more state budget information is available to make a decision regarding the university's tuition rates for the next academic years; Regents are expected to set tuition rates in August.

"Stay focused, and build a school the city needs," Editorial, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, July 8.

An editorial urging UW-Milwaukee officials to continue to work with city leaders in planning a graduate school of public health at the campus, as such a school would serve to benefit many of the area's residents.

This article remembers UW-Whitewater Professor Paula Poorman as someone who was always eager to help students live up to their full potential; Prof. Poorman passed away late last month.

The ability of the UW System Board of Regents to set the university's tuition is only one reason the state Legislature should work swiftly to complete Wisconsin's biennial budget, according to this editorial.
