UW Colleges and UW-Extension Chancellor David Wilson said a nearly completed technology center at UW-Sheboygan will provide a boost in the quality of education and research at the campus for years to come.

A tentative agreement has been reached between Wisconsin and Minnesota that would keep the states' 39-year tuition reciprocity agreement intact.

Members of the U.S. Senate's Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies included language in a recently approved bill to increase funding to the National Institutes of Health that would also expand the number of stem-cell lines eligible to receive federal research funding.
