UW-Madison officials said it will cost the campus time and money to comply with a court order to identify and share with the Recording Industry Association of America the names of students who have allegedly participated in copyright infringement.

The Wisconsin Covenant is a plan for higher education that would allow state students who meet certain academic and nonacademic standards admission into a Wisconsin college or university.
