Gov. Jim Doyle told economic development leaders that investing in the UW System is fundamentally important for the state's future.

"UWO ends financial relationship with preferred lender," Oshkosh Northwestern, April 18.

UW-Oshkosh has ended a revenue-sharing arrangement with a private lending company to remove any notion of impropriety among the campus's financial aid officials; the Medical College of Wisconsin and Milwaukee Area Technical College are also found to have had arrangements with preferred lenders.
