The UW System's collaborative degree programs have enabled students to earn four-year college degrees from UW campuses while living and working in their home communities.

Officials from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation said the organization will appeal a recent rejection of three UW-Madison stem-cell patents by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office; the patents are still valid until the appellate process is complete.
