The UW-Madison campus should center media attention on the benefits of beginning a degree program at one of the UW Colleges' 13 freshman-sophomore campuses, focusing, perhaps, on the ease of student transfer to a four-year campus.

An editorial arguing that potential changes to the state's administrative code, allowing the UW to impose sanctions upon students for off-campus offenses, constitute the university stepping outside of its jurisdiction.

The Spirit of Whitewater shop, which sells UW-Whitewater Warhawk team apparel, was started by the campus's Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Association with the goals of not only marketing to parents of UW-Whitewater students, but attracting business to downtown Whitewater's other locally owned enterprises.

A group of UW-Green Bay students is helping the city's National Railroad Museum formulate a new, more user-friendly plan for its future.

"UW-EC's prominence in controversy confuses some," Eau Claire Leader-Telegram, April 2.

UW System officials could offer no explanation for why UW-Eau Claire received a greater number of lawsuit threats from the Recording Industry Association of America than the much larger UW-Madison and UW-Milwaukee; this discrepancy also has led university officials to question the RIAA's methods.
