The UW-River Falls Student Senate is considering a plan that would implement program-specific differential tuition, which could improve student retention and enhance the overall learning experience.

"UW-Platteville students participate in ethnic studies trip to Mississippi," Platteville Journal, Feb. 28.

As part of an inter-college exchange program, UW-Platteville students visited Mississippi Valley State University to experience the sociological and historical perspectives of ethnic and gender issues in education and society within the U.S. Full story not available online.

UW-Madison is actively working to recover funds the campus is owed by Madison employers who employ students as part of federal work-study agreements.

"UWO celebrates Women's History Month," Oshkosh Northwestern, March 1.

Organizers of UW-Oshkosh's Women's History Month events said the month recognizes the continuing strides made by women to achieve a more-equal standing.
