"Doyle: $225 million aimed at UW System projects," Associated Press, Jan. 28.

UW System President Kevin Reilly said he believes Gov. Jim Doyle's proposed budget for the university would allow it to achieve many of its goals outlined in the Growth Agenda for Wisconsin; under the Growth Agenda, the UW System seeks to graduate a greater number of four-year college degree-holders and attract knowledge economy jobs to the state.

"UW seeks feedback on admissions," Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Jan. 28.

The UW System Board of Regents is seeking public feedback on proposed updates to the university's admissions policies; under the updated policy, UW System campuses would consider both academic and nonacademic factors in the admissions process.
