UW-Stevens Point will be one of the four UW System campuses to participate in a pilot program to reduce energy consumption by converting to renewable resources.

"Once again, House approves an extension of Higher Education Act," Chronicle of Higher Education, Sept. 27.
Deviating from its usual three-month extension of the Higher Education Act, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to extend the act, which governs most federal student-aid programs, by nine months.
