"UW campuses' growth plans hinge on more funding, chancellors say," Associated Press, June 18.
UW System President Kevin Reilly said the university's Growth Agenda includes increasing enrollment by 7,700 students over the next six to eight years to help increase the number of Wisconsin's baccalaureate degree holders, and to boost the state's overall economy by reaching out to more adult students and students from lower-income families; Reilly and several UW System chancellors said in order to keep the university strong, it will need a reinvestment from the state.
