UW-Eau Claire suspends its practice of prohibiting resident assistants from leading Bible-study sessions in their residence hall rooms; a UW System committee will help clarify practices and develop a systemwide policy.

UW-Whitewater Chancellor Martha Saunders said the campus's audit of two academic deans had nothing to do with race; Dean says he believes audit was conducted unprofessionally.

UW-Madison Chancellor John Wiley said the university has tightened rules about employee sick leave and other leaves of absence, and is implementing a Board of Regents policy that requires a doctor's note after a sick leave period of more than five consecutive days.
